Big news on the Timberline Mountain Bike Trails and Skills Park Project! The USFS has posted the "Legal Notice of Proposed Action" for the project, which marks the beginning of the official 30-day public comment period.

| Projected Bike Park Trails at Timberline Lodge, Mt Hood Oregon |
You demonstrated a "need" for the project with your initial comments and emails, now we need to demonstrate
support for the documented plan within the next 30 days. Even if you've sent a comment already, we need you to send another comment during this period for your thoughts to fully count in the approval process.
Please send your comments to
comments-pacificnorthwest-mthood-zigzag@fs.fed.us and it's also important to
cc the Timberline Bike Park team as well
MTB@timberlinelodge.com on the same email so they can track every supportive and non-supportive email properly.
Please take a look at the
PEA published by the USFS and submit a letter of support and tell your friends - we want to demonstrate the overwhelming support that exists for lift-assisted mountain biking at Timberline.
We're SUPER excited about this project. After a busy summer of mapping trails with Gravity Logic, we're ready to build once approval is reached and the snow melts. From rolling beginner terrain to progressive intermediate trails and challenging expert trails -- the Timberline Mountain Bike Trails and Skills Park will be world class and have something for everyone!

Timberline has responded nicely to opposition and this is a great article to read. And here is what the opposition is saying and misleading the public by saying the 'Bike Park is Incompatible With the Area'.
